Lex Rivera is a self-taught painter, graphic designer, and aspiring filmmaker from South Central Los Angeles. With 16 years of experience across a range of creative professions, he has developed a distinct artistic voice rooted in raw emotion, surrealism, and psychological storytelling.

Lex's body of work builds layered narratives through a fusion of film, design, painting, and cultural influence. His evolving body of work reflects a commitment to pushing creative boundaries while exploring the intersection of lived experience, genre, and artistic expression.

Lex is a proud alumni of Prelude, a film fellowship program created by Abbi Jacobson & Mieka Tennant, that gave him deeper access to the world of filmmaking and creative development. The experience strengthened his voice as a storyteller while connecting him with mentors and collaborators who continue to inspire his journey in film.
